Apple Cider Vinegar Reviews: Trying Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar for my Daily Detox

As a dedicated health nut and wellness advocate, Apple Cider Vinegar definitely is one of my all-time go-to solutions for keeping my body healthy, alkaline and detoxified.  Having said that, I know that there are some popular Apple Cider Vinegar products out there on the market and then some newcomers we may also be curious about trying...

Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar recently caught my attention on Instagram after posting on my own Instagram about a favorite Apple Cider detox drink that I love.  One of the first things I noticed is that Fairchild's ACV seemed to have an emphasis on being clean and organic as well as being "Undiluted" and full strength!  (Wait... did that mean that the ACV I usually drank WAS diluted??  Well, that's not good... maybe I should give Fairchild's ACV a try!)

What is Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar all about?

Made in the USA, Fairchild's Apple Cider Vinegar is produced by veteran cider crafter, Roger Fairchild, in Fruitland, Idaho.  Their ACV is a pure, organic, raw and unpasteurized ACV that includes the "Mother" (the beneficial good bacteria that is soo awesome for gut health!)  Their ACV is undiluted (again, this really stood out to me!), USDA Organic and Kosher certified as well.

So..."Undiluted"...this means No water Added!  So it is 100% FULL Strength!  (If you notice, other brands do state that they are diluted to a certain percentage; often just 5%...)

Fairchild's Apple Cider Vinegar Review:

I have been an avid ACV drinker for a few years now, using it for my health more often than for cooking (and I'll share a couple recipes below of how I like to use ACV for wellness).  One of the first things I noticed is that the taste of Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is stronger (bolder), sweeter in a way and more pure than the other ACV I was used to drinking (an ACV most will have heard of and tried before).  My guess is that because Fairchild's does not dilute their ACV that is why it tastes more pure and strong.  Most people dilute their ACV anyways in water or juice or through cooking so why pre-dilute it to take away from the benefits, right?  Makes perfect sense to me.  That way I can technically use less and it becomes even more cost-effective! YAY!! Absolutely SO smart to do that!!

Another funny thing my daughter noticed is that it doesn't stink! LOL!!  The other ACV I had been using has a very strong, pungent smell that can be almost nauseating!  My family usually groaned anytime I pulled the ACV out of the fridge because they knew what was coming!!  Yikes!!  BUT, when I opened the Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider vinegar, my daughter who usually turned up her nose in disgust anytime I drank my ACV, noticed that Fairchild's didn't have the same horrendous smell (even with it being undiluted and full strength!)  Fascinating!

Fairchild's ACV also comes in a glass bottle which is awesome because if you've ever tasted ACV from a plastic bottle it doesn't taste Nearly as good!!

So, What are the Health Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar?

Apple Cider Vinegar has so many health benefits.  I drink it every day as a daily wellness detox drink to help keep my body alkaline, improve gut health and to reduce inflammation.  I've also noticed that my skin has been SO much more clear since adding ACV to my daily wellness regimen!  Apple Cider Vinegar is also known to help reduce appetite and sugar cravings which can help with weight loss.  Bonus!

Here are some more ways Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider can help if you drink a little every day:

Remember, to start small with ACV.  1-2 tsps is plenty in the beginning, dilute in a large glass of water, tea or juice.  Recommended is up to 2 TB per day.

Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Recipes:

1-  Apple Cider Vinegar Energy Detox Drink
This is one of my all-time favorite ways to drink ACV!

Ingredients:

2 TB Organic Lemon Juice
1 TB Cinnamon
Dash of Cayenne pepper

Tall Glass of Ice water

Stir all ingredient together and Enjoy!

2-  Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Tea

Another variation of the above but first brew a cup of dandelion tea (or your favorite herbal tea) then add 1-2 TB Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and honey to taste.

3- Apple Cider Vinegar Vinaigrette

Ingredients:
1/4 cup Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1 garlic clove, minced
1 TB Dijon mustard
2 TB organic lemon juice
1-2 tablespoons raw, organic honey (to taste)
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Stir ingredients together, seal and shake until well combined and honey is dissolved.  Refrigerate for 30 min before serving.  Store remaining vinaigrette in the dressing for up to 1 week.

What does "Eating Clean" Actually Mean Anyways? How to Really Eat Clean to Stay Energetic, Fit and Healthy

There are a ton of buzz words in the Fitness and Wellness world these days and Clean Eating is definitely a Biggie!  A number of people have written to me lately on my Facebook Fitness page lately ( Energetic, Fit and Healthy ) to ask me what exactly it really means to 'Eat Clean' and which kinds of foods fit in with a clean eating plan or not? So here is a Simple Explanation of "Clean Eating" to help you get a better grasp of it: Clean Eating doesn't literally refer to cleanliness the way it would to washing your hands or taking a shower, what it simply means is eating foods in their most natural, unprocessed state.  Which means avoiding processed foods with tons of preservatives, lots of added sugars, and foods with a high level of bad fats (some saturated fats/all trans fats).  In addition, when Eating Clean, you will also want to avoid foods that have been stripped of their original nutritional value or that have been injected with hormones or chemical...
